Coworker Complaints

Every single time. He’ll call out his name from time to time randomly as well, in kind of a sing-song voice. I used to think it was pretty hilarious but now that he’s taken to picking on the nice managers/being lazy, it just makes him look like a giant ass.

The song Lady Marmalade was playing over the PA, and my coworker asked the customer he was ringing up, “Do you know what lady marmalade is?” The managers and I were crying laughing becase seriously what. XD

i mean i’m not a manager or anything, but that sounds a lot like firing to me.

everyone should make sure to ask around and find out what resources are available to help you with your coworker complaints!!

And then our management wonders why the older members of staff have low morale and complain a lot when we’ve all had our hours cut to 16 or less and the new members of staff are starting on 20 and being told they could get even more.

i went above my supervisor’s supervisor and complained about the hostile work environment, breaking a confidentiality agreement to do so. a month and a half later i got an email, yes, an email, saying that my payroll authorization would not be renewed when it expired in 2 weeks. cool.

Okay, so it’s not quite a co-worker complaint, but it’s something we all have to deal with. Most of the time, our co-workers are people we tolerate because we have to. At best, they’re people we care about during the hours we are paid to spend with them. But every so often, one comes along and you actually become friends. Maybe they share your sense of humor or taste in films or maybe it turns out your have some sort of wacky Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon connection in your past… whatever the case, knowing that you have someone like that at your job makes it so much easier to come to work every day. And then they quit and work, once again, becomes a joyless oblivion filled with people you would never choose to spend time around.

My biggest regret

I gave a co-worker my phone number because we are friendly at work - and now she is calling me and texting me either really late or really early. The most frustrating thing is her excuse when she called me early in the morning and woke me up was that she thought I was already at work. Problem is we have both worked the same permanent afternoon shifts for the past two years! Seriously considering kidnapping her phone and deleting my details!

When you ask for more hours at my job the way they get given to you is by calling you in during the week. And I can easily pick up 2+ extra days or 3+ extra hours on my shift while still fulfilling my social life no problem. If you ask you shall recieve. But coworkers in the past (who call out constantly, leave early, no call no show) will complain non stop about getting no hours at all and then not come in when they are asked. NEVER COME IN AND NEVER COVER A SHIFT. And the times they agree to cover they wouldn’t show up or they would try and give me my shift back at 3am while OBVIOUSLY at a party. They have even gotten shifts covered and then wanted their shift back because their plans fell through….WFT? Sorry I rant on about these two girls because they infuriated me and the other associated at my work.

Throwing a tantrum helps as well.

Another manager got hired and fired her for the shit she was pulling and we found out she was doing the store manager after she left.

Another manager got hired and fired her for the shit she was pulling and we found out she was doing the store manager after she left.

Why would you be so mean?

So one of my managers got promoted to co store manager. And instead of giving up her visual position so she can focus on co she will not let it go so one of the other 3 assistant managers who can do the visuals better and have a passion for it have the position. She doesn’t want to give up her set 8am-5pm schedule. Then at the huge manager meeting when it was announced she would be getting promoted with store and district managers she throws a newer manager “C” under the bus and makes complaints in front of EVERYONE for “dress code” and “hygiene.” “C” doesn’t have a lot of money to spend on clothes but she never is not wearing our brand’s denim or looks terrible  (we all have off days where we just want to wear a T-shirt and jeans and not wear heels) and for hygiene the adjective stinky got used because she doesn’t wash her hair as frequently as most. The worst I have ever seen her hair was a bit greasy and she has never smelled of even had bad breath. But the new co doesn’t wear our denim and doesn’t even wear heels. She completely ignores our dress code so she shouldn’t be criticizing. But it was despicable to throw someone under the bus who everyone really likes, does a great job at being a manager, and really cares for the associates there for no reason.

I keep reading the URL as Cow orker complaints. Not sure what an Orker is, but my brain parses it as a valid sequence for English. Anyway real question, is that why you picked the cow? Because coworker starts with C-O-W?

S says that she chose the Cow simply for alliteration.

I personally think of calling co-workers cows because in the British sense calling someone a “cow” is somewhat an insult because they’re rude or obnoxious, so I thought it fit well for that reason.
